WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 1906 Printed from 12:00 till 4:15. Ewen’s back worse. Very mild. North wind. Arose 6:55. Breakfastr on. Milked, etc. Pumped water, & got 2 pails full. Breakfast 8:40. Washed up. Swept. Put beef that had thawed out in West room. Put in pan & washed up in there. This took 2 hrs about. Rubbed Ewen. Put bones to soak, & beef to brown in oven. Printed. Dinner 1:50. Printed & finished list required except 3 of Birney & 4 of Henry Kempton. E watered cattle. (The walking yesterday made his back hurt more today) . Chores. Heifers, Ruby, & Bulll only put in . River Swim not up. Chopped wood. Got water. In 6:10. Supper on. WD. Made up S S A. Read. Rub Ewen always in bed.
